It was a late fall day in Miramichi, New Brunswick, when Jade and Joshua tied the knot. The bride wore Paloma Blanca Style 4363 that she found at Bella Promessa, as she said ‘I do!’ during her rustic celebration. We caught up with Jade to hear more about her special day:
How did you know your dress was “the one”?
It was perfect! Everything I had been looking for in a dress! The lace is so romantic and the skirt was flirty! It suited my personality so well!
How did Joshua propose?
We finished university and started our careers, moving in together like any other couple. I wanted to take the logical next step and longed for an engagement ring. While Josh wanted the same, he needed to make sure the timing was right. He bought a ring and thought about how and when he would ask. Then, one night it happened. Josh cooked supper in our new apartment and we relaxed watching tv like we had always done before. Although it was not romantic like the movies, it was special to both of us because it was what we always did. Josh got down on one knee, popped the question and I said “YES.”
What is your best advice for brides-to-be?
Enjoy every moment of your wedding planning and all the events! Before you know it your day will be here and go just as planned!
Thank you, Jade, for sharing your wedding day with us!
